Appreciation does not charge money..

Appreciation plays a vital role in man's life. Everyone needs a little doze of appreciation and encouragement to move forward in life, it blows a new spirit, a new zeal to work harder and former tension is released through a few words of appreciation. At times people underestimate its importance and fail to express few words of appreciation when their dear ones require it. They believe that the person is already doing so good in life, is achieving success so there is no need to mention obvious "you were good" or "good work" they also think that praising somebody's achievement will make him take his success for granted. He may not work as hard as before. He might think that he is successful and he will be successful and will develop a laid back attitude. He might even become egotistical.
People fail to understand that at times a boost of ego is required. A student who work hard to obtain position in class and when he does achieve that position, he expects appreciation. But when no one delivers one or two sentences in his admiration he feels all hard work was in vain. He therefore decide not to work hard as before. He no longer has the courage to do the same. He loses confidence and try to escape from the eyes of the people. And then people start questioning his position in the class, now that he has stopped working hard. The parents start inquiring why their son or daughter has stopped taking interest in studies and why he/she doesn't strive to go forward. The parents and the teachers also responsible for sabotaging the confidence of their child/student and making him/her to lose interest in studies.
Every individual is talented and strives to achieve greatness in life, but drive to move forward can be hindered by the unappreciated attitude of his elders. So the right attitude is to give an individual his due share of appreciation that will not only make him/her a confident individual but also a successful personality or citizen of tomorrow.
