Lust of money makes people emotionless

Money is more worthy than Love and Emotions

My story revolves around the most beautiful blessing bestowed upon us from our God. Regrettably we ignore such precious blessing and run after materialistic world. We usually open our eyes and ear when the time has slipped from our hands.

lust of money made him selfish
Ahsan, a Pakistani born American national is now among those unlucky people who preferred money to the most beautiful creature on the earth. It was his routine to receive a call on every Friday from Pakistan but last weekend he didn’t. Surprisingly enough he did not care about that unusual absence of call. Moreover, didn’t receive any other incoming call.

After a whole week, Ahsan received a call from his elder brother Ali who told about their mother’s sudden death .Ali told Ahsan that their mom  has passed away a week before and not among them  now. He told Ahsan that they were continuously trying to inform him but he did not answer to any phone call. Ali told Ahsan that they did not have enough time to wait for his arrival from U.S therefore they buried their mom last Friday.

what to do with this money?
Ahsan become half dead after receiving the news of his mother’s death. He memorized the last phone call of his mom that said “come back son, I just want to see you before I sleep forever.” And at that time his answer to his mom started hammering in his mind which revealed his selfishness and preference to money. He replied to his mom that my all paid leaves are finished and I do not want to come home (Pakistan) on my unpaid leaves.

At the moment that dreadful news horrified Ahsan. He did not understand what to do. Now he wanted to return home but there was no one waiting for him, standing at the door of the house to welcome him with wide arms. There were no eyes which wandered for him. No one was there who ask questions from him.

Ahsan started weeping, shouting on himself. He was cursing himself for his selfish act. But the time had passed now. And there was nothing left to cry for. This sense of loss and longing from his mom is of no worth. He was mourning on his great loss but there was nothing that brought him out of his grief.

Unfortunately he was standing among those unlucky persons who did not see their parents face for the last time when they returned back to eternal heaven again. He distressed about his act and wished could be different but time does not wait for anyone.
